Mechanical Assembler

About the role

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a mechanical assembler, you will work in the production process of property maintenance machines, responsible for equipping the machines. The work is done Monday to Friday in a day shift from 7:00 to 15:30. The working week is 40 hours. The workplace is located in Rauma, and the employment is permanent. The employment is based on the collective agreement for the technology industry.

As a mechanical assembler, your main duties include:

• assembly and outfitting of work machines
• other possible production tasks

You will work in a staffing arrangement, where Adecco is your employer. During the employment period, there is a possibility of transitioning directly to the customer company’s payroll. The employment starts as agreed.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

To succeed in this role, you preferably have previous experience in industrial assembly work or a vocational background in metalwork. You are able to read technical drawings and handle various hand tools with confidence. Valid certificates such as a safety card and hot work card, or readiness to complete them, are considered an advantage. As an employee, you are active and reliable.

Important skills for the role include:

• experience in industrial assembly or a metalwork qualification
• ability to read technical drawings and use hand tools

Oy LAI-MU Ab is a metal industry company based in Rauma. We manufacture LM Trac multifunction machines and work attachments, as well as safety cabins for various types of work machines. The production of safety cabins began in the late 1960s and still represents a significant part of the company’s operations.
